Member Facility Management Association of Australia

The Facility Management Association is the peak national industry body for facilities management, representing and supporting professionals and organisations responsible for the operational management of Australia’s built environments.

Established in 1988, today FMA has branches in the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania Victoria and Western Australia.

A primary focus of the Association is to ensure the needs of professionals and organisations working in and dealing with facilities management are understood and considered in government and business policy formulation and decision making.

Australian Smart Communities Associate, “ASCA”, is Australia’s premier consumer led industry group for Smart City, representing many cities and councils around the country.

Institute of Public Works Engineers Australasia

The Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia, (“IPWEA”), is the peak association for the professionals who deliver public works and engineering services to communities in Australia and New Zealand. IPWEA provides services to its over 4,000 members and online community of 20,000 and advocates on their behalf.

For LVX, alignment with our clients’ needs and therefore industry groups is a logical and highly successful way to deliver on advocacy, policy and due diligence, and involvements on specialist task groups such as Smart Lighting and Smart Controls, (“SLSC”), significantly leverages and activates opportunities for our clients and associated communities.


IES The Lighting Society

The aim of The Lighting Society is the advancement of the art and science of illumination and the dissemination of knowledge to all interested parties. The Society is heavily involved in research, education, policy development and advocacy that advances not only the industry, but results for building and infrastructure designers, constructors, managers and users.
