Carrick Hill Estate

Carrick Hill Estate, built by Bill and Ursula Hayward in the 1930s is Australia’s most in tact 20th century home, museum, garden and gallery. Bequeathed to the South Australian Government upon Bill’s death Carrick Hill is home to nearly $50 million of Australia and the world’s more significant artworks, and hosts upwards of 70,000 visitors per annum.

Over the next ten years LVX will deliver upgrades to the gallery and feature lighting and controls, including facades, gardens and landscapes, as well as fire safety systems and smart precinct technologies to enhance user experience and economic activation. Phase 1, the façade and garden lighting will be completed in late 2019, with interior works to follow during the gallery upgrade in 2020.
